My Resume

After graduating from the University of Missouri, Columbia last spring, I drove to Miami in a tropical storm and started a reporting and producing internship with the NPR member-station, WLRN Public Radio.
I fell in love and decided to stay and freelance for South Florida's NPR station over the last year.
During my time in the Magic City I've uncovered stories from the Florida Keys up to West Palm Beach. I’ve been lucky enough to experience many South Florida cultures, produce with WLRN's local daily show, report feature stories and work alongside a dedicated team of reporters.
When I'm not hustling to pay rent, one of my favorite things to do is dance salsa, cumbia, bachata and explore the South Florida food scene. I also like to listen to a good podcast while cooking my stews, soups and chilis in the pots that have traveled with me since the beginning.
